G.A. McKevett (born George Arthur McKevett) was an American author known for his science fiction and fantasy works. Born in 1928, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War before pursuing a writing career. McKevett's notable works include "The Glass Tiger" (1984), "The Demon of Scattery" (1987), and the "Empire of Time" fantasy trilogy. His writings often explored themes of time travel, parallel universes, and the nature of reality. McKevett was awarded the Philip K. Dick Award in 1984 for "The Glass Tiger."
