Helen Bailey (1964-2016) was a British author known for her work in the crime fiction genre. Bailey's writing career began in 2014 with the publication of her debut novel, "Elegy for April." She followed up her debut with two more novels in the Gemma James series, "When the Moon Was Ours" (2015) and "The Summer of Dead Toys" (2016).
