About L J Sellers

L.J. Sellers is a pen name used by British author Laura Jane Childs. Born in 1951, Sellers published her first Carmela Bertrand mystery novel, "Creme Brulee Cadaver," in 2001. The series follows the adventures of Carmela Bertrand, an owner of the Theodosia Browning Cooking School in Boston. Under the L.J. Sellers pen name, Childs has written over 20 Carmela Bertrand novels, including "Custard's Last Stand" (2002) and "Devilish Eggs Benedict" (2023). The series combines mystery, cooking, and humor, and has been praised for its well-developed characters and clever plots.
