Derek Strange & Terry Quinn

George Pelecanos (born February 19, 1957) is an American crime novelist, short story writer, and television producer. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., his work often explores the city's criminal underworld and its social and political issues. Pelecanos has published over twenty novels, including "The Wire" (1997), "The Night Gardener" (2011), and "The Man on the Run" (2019). His work has received critical acclaim, with many of his novels earning award nominations and being adapted for television. Pelecanos has also worked as an executive producer and writer for the HBO drama series "The Wire" and "The Deuce." Pelecanos's writing is known for its realism, gritty characters, and complex plots.
