About Louise Rennison

Louise Rennison (1951-2018) was a beloved British children's and young adult author. Born in Leeds, Yorkshire, she began writing as a teenager and published her first novel, "Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging," in 1999. Rennison's humorous and relatable novels, narrated by the teenage character Georgia Nicholson, became instant bestsellers. The "Angus, Thongs" trilogy sold over 3 million copies and was translated into 30 languages. Rennison received numerous awards, including the Children's Book of the Year at the British Book Awards and the Blue Peter Book Award.
