About the Author
Richard Osman (born 1970) is a British author, television presenter, and producer best known as co-host of the BBC quiz show Pointless. He turned to fiction writing with The Thursday Murder Club (2020), which became the fastest-selling debut crime novel in UK publishing history. Set in a retirement community, the series follows four elderly sleuths who investigate cold cases — and soon find themselves entangled in very live ones. The books combine sharp wit, warmth, and genuine mystery plotting, and have sold over ten million copies worldwide. Osman followed the Thursday Murder Club series with We Solve Murders (2024), a globe-trotting thriller series with a different sensibility. He lives in London.
