About the Author
Jojo Moyes (born June 4, 1969) is an English author. She was raised in London and studied at Royal Holloway College, University of London. Moyes began her career as a journalist, working for The Independent and The Sunday Times. In 2002, Moyes published her first novel, Sheltering Rain. She has since written over 20 novels, including the international bestsellers Me Before You (2012), After You (2015), and Still Me (2018). Her books have been translated into over 40 languages and have sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Moyes has won numerous awards for her writing, including the Romantic Novel of the Year Award in 2011 for The Girl You Left Behind and the Red Magazine Fiction Award in 2014 for Me Before You. Her work has also been adapted for film and television, with Me Before You being made into a major motion picture in 2016.
