Cecelia Ahern is an Irish author born in 1981. After working as a journalist, she rose to fame with her debut novel, "P.S. I Love You," in 2004. The novel, which deals with love, loss, and grief, became an international bestseller translated into over 40 languages and adapted into a successful film starring Hilary Swank. Ahern's subsequent novels have continued to explore similar themes of love, relationships, and the human condition. Notable works include "Love, Rosie," "If You Could See Me Now," and "The Gift." Her books have sold over 25 million copies worldwide and have been translated into over 50 languages. Despite critical acclaim, Ahern's novels have also garnered criticism for their perceived lack of literary depth and overuse of sentimentality. Nonetheless, her work has resonated with a wide audience, and she remains a popular author of contemporary women's fiction.
