Steve Burrows is a British author best known for his historical crime fiction novels set in Georgian England. Born in 1955, he studied history at the University of Bristol before working as a teacher and intelligence analyst. In 2008, Burrows published his debut novel, "The Executioner's Daughter," which introduced Detective Inspector Thomas Pitt and his wife, Charlotte.
