Conn Iggulden is an English historical fiction author. Born in London in 1971, his interests in ancient history and philosophy led him to pursue writing. Iggulden's breakthrough came with the "Emperor" series, chronicling the lives of Julius Caesar, Augustus, and their successors. The series, characterised by its gripping narrative and historical depth, gained immense popularity worldwide. Continuing the trend, Iggulden released the "Conqueror" series, focusing on Genghis Khan and the Mongol Empire. His other notable works include "The Gates of Rome" series, exploring the Punic Wars, and "The Wars of the Roses" series, delving into the infamous English civil war.
