About Orson Scott Card

Orson Scott Card (born August 24, 1951) is an American science fiction and fantasy author. He is best known for his science fiction novel Ender's Game (1985), which won the Hugo and Nebula Awards. Some of his other popular works include Ender's Shadow, Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide. Card has authored over 60 novels, both science fiction and fantasy, as well as short stories, plays, and essays. He has won numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Awards, and has been inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame. Card's writings explore themes of religion, morality, and the human condition.
