Caroline Todd (1920-2002) was a British author of over 60 romantic suspense novels. Her son, Charles Todd (born 1960), is an American author and historian. Together, they have written over 20 books in the Inspector Ian Rutledge series, set in postwar England and featuring a shell-shocked detective.
