Hugh Howey Books in Order

Hugh Howey is an American science fiction author best known for the Silo series, which began as a self-published novella in 2011. Wool became one of the most successful self-publishing stories in modern publishing history, selling over a million copies before Howey signed a print-only deal with Simon & Schuster — retaining his e-book rights. The Silo trilogy (Wool, Shift, Dust) has since sold millions of copies worldwide and been adapted into a major Apple TV+ drama series starring Rebecca Ferguson. Howey lives aboard a sailboat and has been an advocate for author rights and the indie publishing movement.
