About the Author
Holly Jackson is a British author best known for her young adult mystery novels. Born in 1992, she graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English Literature. Jackson's debut novel, "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder," published in 2019, became an instant bestseller. It follows a 17-year-old girl named Pip who investigates the murder of a schoolgirl 5 years prior. The novel won the Crime Writers' Association's John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger Award and was shortlisted for the Edgar Awards for Best Juvenile Mystery. Her subsequent novels, "Good Girl, Bad Blood" (2020) and "As Good as Dead" (2021), continue the story of Pip and have also received critical acclaim. Jackson's writing has been praised for its suspense, complex characters, and exploration of social issues.
