Suzanne Collins

Suzanne Collins is an American author best known for her young adult dystopian novel series, "The Hunger Games." Collins was born in 1962 in Hartford, Connecticut. She studied theater and television production at Indiana University and worked as a writer for children's educational television shows. In 2003, she published her first novel, "Gregor the Overlander," which launched a fantasy series for middle-grade readers. In 2008, Collins released the first book in "The Hunger Games" trilogy, which became an international phenomenon.
