Susan Isaacs

Susan Isaacs was an American author known for her psychological thrillers and domestic suspense novels. Born in New York City in 1943, she graduated from Cornell University and later earned a master's degree in social work from Boston College. Isaacs published her first novel, "Compromising Positions," in 1978. The book was an immediate success and launched her career as a best-selling author. Over the next several decades, she wrote numerous novels, including "Close Relations," "After All These Years," and "Any Place I Hang My Hat." Isaacs's books have been translated into more than 20 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. She received numerous awards and accolades, including the Mystery Writers of America's Edgar Award for Best Novel in 1985 for "After All These Years." Her work has been praised for its suspenseful plots, psychological depth, and exploration of complex family relationships. Isaacs's novels have also been adapted into several television movies and miniseries. She passed away in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of thrilling and thought-provoking fiction.
