The Chet and Bernie series features a dog-owning private investigator named Pete Donohue and his loyal canine companion, Chet. The series has received critical acclaim for its humor, suspense, and heartwarming characters. It has won multiple awards, including the Agatha Award for Best Novel (2011) for "To Fetch a Thief."
