Ruth Ware

Ruth Ware is a British author known for her psychological thrillers. Born in 1977, she studied English and Classics at the University of Manchester. Before embarking on her writing career, she worked as a journalist and editor. Ware's debut novel, "In a Dark, Dark Wood," published in 2015, was an instant success and introduced her distinctive style of suspenseful plots and unreliable narrators. This was followed by several other critically acclaimed thrillers, including "The Woman in Cabin 10" (2016), "The Death of Mrs. Westaway" (2018), and "The Lying Game" (2021). Ware's novels have been translated into over 40 languages and have become international bestsellers. She has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Mystery & Thriller (2015) and the Strand Magazine Critics Award for Best Novel (2018).
