Robert R McCammon

Robert R. McCammon (born June 17, 1952) is an American horror and fantasy author. He is also a musician, screenwriter, and television producer. McCammon was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He began writing at a young age, and his first novel, "Usher's Passing," was published in 1979. McCammon has since written over 20 novels and novellas, including "Swan Song" (1987), "The Wolf's Hour" (1989), and "Boy's Life" (1991). He has also written several screenplays and television shows, including "The Stand" (1994) and "The Outer Limits" (1995-2002). McCammon has received numerous awards for his work, including the Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel for "Swan Song" and "The Wolf's Hour," and the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel for "Boy's Life." He has also been nominated for the Nebula Award and the Hugo Award. McCammon's novels are known for their atmospheric settings, complex characters, and gripping plots. He is considered one of the most influential writers in the horror and fantasy genres.
