Nicola Upson

Nicola Upson is a British author best known for her historical crime series featuring the female detective Josephine Tey. Born in Staffordshire, England, Upson studied English at the University of Oxford before embarking on her writing career. Her debut novel, "An Expert in Murder" (2006), introduced Josephine Tey as a young woman navigating the male-dominated world of crime solving in 1930s Britain.
