Gardiner's debut novel, "The Shadow Hour," won the Edgar Award for Best First Novel in 2009. She has since published over 10 novels, including the popular "Josie Quinn" series. Her work has been critically acclaimed for its suspense, intricate plotting, and strong female characters. Gardiner's awards include the Edgar Award, the Thriller Award for Best Paperback Original, and the Lefty Award for Best Debut Mystery Novel.
