Malcolm Dylan Petteway
Malcolm Dylan Petteway is an African American author, professor, and award-winning poet. He is the author of several books of poetry, including "Sound Machine: Five Engines" (2017), which received the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, and "The Last Wolf" (2010), which was shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize. Petteway is also a founding editor of the literary journal "New Delta Review." His work has been praised by critics for its lyrical beauty and its exploration of themes related to race, identity, and the American South. Aside from the National Book Critics Circle Award, Petteway has also received a Whiting Award and a Pushcart Prize.
