Lars Kepler

Lars Kepler is the pseudonym for the Swedish husband-and-wife writing team Alexander Ahndoril and Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril. Lars Kepler's debut novel, "The Hypnotist" (2009), was an international bestseller, translated into over 40 languages. It introduced Detective Inspector Joona Linna, a complex and enigmatic character who also features in subsequent novels in the series. Kepler's works are known for their suspenseful plots, psychological depth, and social commentary. They have consistently received critical acclaim for their intricate storytelling and gripping characters. Kepler has won numerous awards, including the Swedish Crime Academy Award for Best Swedish Crime Novel in 2010 for "The Hypnotist" and again in 2012 for "The Fire Witness."
