Kristin Harmel is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 12 novels, including "The Room on Rue Amelie," "The Book of Lost Names," and "The Winemaker's Wife." Born in 1978 in Naples, Italy, she spent her childhood in Georgia before earning a history degree from the University of Florida in 1999. Harmel is widely acclaimed for her historical fiction, which often focuses on women's resilience during times of war and turmoil. Her novels have received praise for their compelling storylines, strong characters, and meticulous research.
