Katie Ruggle

Katie Ruggle is an American poet and essayist. She was born in 1982 and grew up in Connecticut. She received her MFA from the University of Virginia and her PhD from the University of Utah. Ruggle's work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The Paris Review, and The Best American Poetry. Her books include "Exhibit A" (2015), "Local News" (2019), and "Half-Life" (2021). Ruggle's work has been praised for its wit, intelligence, and emotional depth. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Whiting Award, the Pushcart Prize, and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
