Kate Mosse

Kate Mosse is an English novelist known for her historical fiction. Born in 1961, she studied English at the University of Oxford and worked as a teacher and journalist before becoming an author. Mosse's breakthrough novel, "Labyrinth," (2005) gained international fame and started the "Languedoc Trilogy." Its sequels, "Sepulchre" (2007) and "Citadel" (2012), completed the trilogy and solidified Mosse's standing as a bestselling author. Her other notable works include "The Winter Sea" (2014), "The Burning Chambers" (2018), and the non-fiction "Warrior Queens & Pagan Gods" (2017). Mosse has received several awards, including the Orange Prize for New Fiction (2005) and the Romantic Novelists' Association Historical Novel of the Year Award (2007). Her works have been translated into over 40 languages, making her a critically acclaimed and globally recognized author.
