Karen Marie Moning is an American author of paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and science fiction. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Moning's passion for writing emerged at a young age. After graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in Marketing, she worked in advertising before becoming a full-time writer in 2002. Moning is renowned for her "Fever" series, which follows the adventures of MacKayla Lane, a sidhe-seer who can see faeries.
