Joseph Finder

Joseph Finder is an American author known for his suspenseful thriller novels. Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1958, he spent his childhood in Miami and attended the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, he worked as a journalist for The Miami Herald and Congressional Quarterly. Finder's debut novel, "Paranoia" (1999), was a critical and commercial success, winning the Edgar Award for Best First Novel. He has since written over 20 novels, including "Killer Instinct" (2005), "Power Play" (2010), and "Vanished" (2017). Finder's works have been praised for their gripping plots, intricate characters, and timely themes. Finder has received numerous awards, including the Hammett Prize and the Thriller Award. His novels have been translated into over 30 languages. He is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and the International Thriller Writers organization.
