John Green

John Green (born August 24, 1977) is an American author known for his young adult novels. After graduating from Kenyon College, he worked as a book reviewer and chaplain at a children's hospital before publishing his debut novel, "Looking for Alaska", in 2005. Green gained widespread acclaim with his 2012 novel "The Fault in Our Stars", which became a bestseller and was adapted into a successful film. He has since published several other novels, including "Paper Towns", "Will Grayson, Will Grayson", and "Turtles All the Way Down", all of which have received critical success. Green's works have been praised for their honest and relatable portrayal of teenage experiences, their exploration of complex themes, and their poignant and often humorous writing style. He has received numerous awards, including the Printz Award and the Edgars Allan Poe Award, and his novels have been translated into over 50 languages.
