Harry Bingham

Harry Bingham (1936-2022) was a Scottish journalist, broadcaster, and author. Throughout his career, he held various positions at The Daily Telegraph and became well-known for his extensive coverage of the Falkland Islands War. Bingham also presented documentaries for BBC, Channel 4, and Discovery Channel. His notable works include "Falklands Sunset" (1989), a detailed account of the Falklands Islands conflict, which was the basis for his BBC documentary series. He also wrote several books on military history, including "The Armenians" (1978) and "The Final Years of British India" (1989). Bingham received the Cholmondeley Award for his services to journalism in 1985. His work has been praised for its insightful analysis, engaging writing, and meticulous research.
