Gyles Brandreth

Gyles Brandreth (born 1948) is a British writer, broadcaster, and former politician. Educated at Westminster School and Oxford University, Brandreth began his career as a politician, serving as Member of Parliament for Chester from 1992 to 1997. He later shifted to a career in writing, publishing over 100 books, including biographies, novels, and children's literature. Among his notable works is the bestselling "The 7 Secrets of Happiness" (2010), which explores the pursuit of contentment.
