Greg Iles
Greg Iles (born January 27, 1960) is an American author known for his suspense and thriller novels. Born in Germany and raised in Mississippi, Iles studied journalism at the University of Mississippi, where he met his wife. He began writing short stories while working as a newspaper reporter. Iles's debut novel, "Spandau Phoenix," was published in 1993 and earned him critical acclaim. He followed up with several successful thrillers, including "The Quiet Game," "Mortal Fear," and "Mississippi Blood." Iles's novels are characterized by their intricate plots, fast-paced action, and memorable characters. He has been praised for his ability to create suspenseful and thought-provoking stories that explore the dark side of human nature.
