Fyodor Dostoyevsky was a renowned Russian author known for his philosophical and psychological novels. Born on November 11, 1821, in Moscow, he faced childhood trauma and was sentenced to death for his alleged involvement in a secret society, which was later commuted to exile in Siberia. This experience deeply influenced his writings. Dostoyevsky's seminal works include "Crime and Punishment" (1866), which explores the moral and psychological consequences of murder, and "The Brothers Karamazov" (1880), a sweeping epic examining faith, philosophy, and the nature of human suffering.
