Debora Geary

Debora Geary is a Canadian author and journalist best known for her writing on science, the environment, and health. Born in 1958, she holds a degree in biology from the University of Toronto and has worked as a science writer for over 30 years. Geary's notable works include "Our World: A Global Journey into the Heart of Our Planet" (1997), a comprehensive overview of the Earth's systems; "The Nature of Home: A Journey through the Seasons at a Cabin in the Woods" (2002), a lyrical exploration of the natural world; and "Chasing the Ghostwriter: A Journey into the Mind of the Man Who Created Sherlock Holmes" (2012), a biography of Arthur Conan Doyle.
