David Walliams

**David Walliams** (born 20 August 1971) is a British comedian, actor, writer, television personality, and philanthropist. Born in Merton, London, Walliams came to prominence as part of the comedy duo "Little Britain" with Matt Lucas. He has since written and starred in several successful comedic series, including "Big School" and "Partners in Crime." As an author, Walliams is renowned for his children's books, including "The Boy in the Dress," "Gangsta Granny," and "Ratburger." His books have sold over 40 million copies worldwide and won numerous awards, including the Red House Children's Book Award and the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Walliams has also received critical acclaim for his charity work. He is a patron of several charities, including the NSPCC and Comic Relief. In 2012, he was honored with an OBE for his services to drama and charity.
