D.J. Molles

D. J. Molles is an American author and professor of biology at the University of New Mexico. His research interests include water relations and adaptations of desert plants, as well as the ecological effects of climate change. Molles has written several books and textbooks on plant biology, including "Ecology: Concepts and Applications" (now in its 5th edition), "Plant Biology" (2nd edition), and "Deserts and Desert Plants." His work has been widely praised for its clarity, accuracy, and engaging style. In addition to his books, Molles has published numerous scientific articles in journals such as Ecology, Oecologia, and Functional Plant Biology. He is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
