Cleo Coyle, born Barbara Curtis, is an American mystery writer known for her historical and culinary-themed novels. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and working as a teacher, she pursued writing and published her debut novel, "Death Al Dente," in 1994. Coyle has written over 20 books, including the Coffeehouse Mystery series, set in Greenwich Village, and the Tea Shop Mystery series, set in Theodosia Browning's tea shop in Maine. Her novels have received critical acclaim for their intriguing mysteries, vibrant characters, and authentic historical and culinary details.
