Cass Green

Cass Green (born 1962) is a British author of predominantly crime and thriller novels. Born in London, Green left school at 16 and worked various jobs before becoming a full-time writer in the late 1990s. His debut novel, "All the Time in the World", was published in 2000 and introduced Detective Inspector Jack Warr, a character who has featured in several of Green's subsequent novels. Green's books have been praised for their fast-paced plots, strong characters, and gritty realism. He has been nominated for several awards, including the Martin Beck Award for Best International Crime Novel and the CWA Gold Dagger Award. Green continues to write and publish crime novels, with his latest work, "The Woman in the Wood", released in 2023.
