Carol Higgins Clark (born June 5, 1956) is an American author of mystery and crime novels. She is the daughter of suspense novelist Mary Higgins Clark. Clark's novels have been critically acclaimed and have landed on bestseller lists, including The New York Times Best Seller list. Her works often feature female protagonists and explore themes of suspense, murder, and danger. Some of her notable works include the Regan Reilly series and the Alvirah Meehan mysteries. Clark has won several awards for her writing, including the Agatha Award for Best First Novel in 1990 for "Decked."
