Caro Ramsay

Caro Ramsay (born 1974) is a Scottish crime writer. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, she worked as a lawyer, but left to write full-time in 2006. Her debut novel 'Absolution' was published in 2008 and introduced DI Colin Anderson. 'Absolution' won the John Creasey Memorial Award and was named CWA Debut Dagger Winner. Ramsay has written several more books featuring Anderson, as well as a series set in France with Detective Superintendent Luc Vanier. Her writing is known for its atmospheric settings, complex characters, and strong plotting.
