Brent Weeks is an American fantasy author known for his Night Angel Trilogy and Lightbringer Series. Born in 1977, he initially pursued a career in law before transitioning to writing. Weeks' debut novel, "The Way of Shadows" (2008), launched the Night Angel Trilogy, which gained critical acclaim for its intricate plotlines and complex characters.
