Brad Thor is an American author best known for his series of thrillers featuring counter-terrorism operative Scot Harvath. Born in Chicago in 1969, Thor served in the US Army after graduating from the University of Southern California. After leaving the military, he worked in law enforcement and as a legislative aide before turning to writing. Thor's debut novel, "The Lions of Lucerne," was published in 2002 and introduced Scot Harvath. The series has since grown to 24 books, selling millions of copies worldwide.
