Andy McNab

Andy McNab (born 1959) is a British former SAS operative and author. Born in London, McNab served in the 22nd SAS Regiment for 11 years, seeing combat in Northern Ireland and the first Gulf War. After leaving the military, he became a writer and has written over 25 books, primarily about his military experiences. McNab's most famous work is "Bravo Two Zero" (1993), an account of an SAS mission in the Gulf War that went disastrously wrong. The book was a bestseller and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. McNab has also written several other notable books, including "Immediate Action" (1995), "Red Notice" (1996), and "Seven Troop" (1998). McNab has received numerous awards for his work, including the British Book of the Year Award in 1993 for "Bravo Two Zero." He has also been praised by critics for his realistic and gripping writing style.
