Amie Kaufman is an Australian-American author best known for her science fiction and fantasy novels. Born in Melbourne, Australia, she currently resides in Los Angeles. Kaufman's writing career began in 2012 with the publication of her debut novel, "Unearthed," co-written with Meagan Spooner. They went on to collaborate on the successful "Starbound" trilogy. Kaufman's solo novel, "The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea," received critical acclaim for its captivating and immersive storytelling. She is also known for co-writing the "Aurora Rising" series with Jay Kristoff.
